Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Deck Mate, provided by Oliosoft and Roshan Pratap Singh ("Deck Mate", "we", "us"), handles information when you use the Deck Mate desktop app, mobile app, and website.
How Deck Mate works
The desktop and mobile apps communicate directly over your local network. Your decks, shortcuts, paired-device information, preferences, and activity history are stored locally on your devices. Deck Mate does not require an account and we do not operate a cloud service that receives your screen stream or command history.
Permissions and local data
Depending on the features you choose, Deck Mate may request access to your local network, camera (for QR pairing), screen recording, Accessibility controls, automation, files you select, and device motion sensors. Screen frames and control commands are sent only between paired devices on your local network. Deck Mate uses these permissions only to perform the actions you request.
Third-party services
- Apple App Store and Google Play may process purchases, diagnostics, and store activity under their own privacy policies.
- Razorpay may process payments on supported Android versions. Payment details are handled by Razorpay, not stored by Deck Mate.
- GIPHY receives search queries when you choose to search for a GIF.
- Our website may use Microsoft Clarity to understand website usage. Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies under Microsoft's privacy terms.
- If you submit a feature request, we receive the name, email address, title, and message you provide. Our email delivery provider processes that submission for us.
Retention and sharing
App data stored locally remains until you remove it or uninstall the app. Feature-request messages are retained as needed to respond and improve Deck Mate. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the public, or our rights.
Children
Deck Mate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can decline or revoke permissions in system settings, delete locally stored app data, and contact us to request deletion of information submitted through the website.
Changes
We may update this policy as Deck Mate changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
